Disneyland

We went to Disneyland over the weekend with Tim, Laura, Patrick, and Jen. I guess it was abnormally hot for that time of the year and we got nice and toasty waiting in line, but it was still a good time. It was also our first venture into southern California. So far I think I would prefer to stay away from that area as much as possible (too many people/cars) except for some hiking and perhaps a beach or ocean (scuba diving, anyone?!).

San Jose at Night

Tim and I went out to try to get some pics at night. It was my first time out playing with the tripod and went pretty well, but not a whole lot was happening in the city.

Almaden Quicksilver Hike

Went on a hike last night in Almaden Quicksilver Park. It was a nice hike and we made some new furry friends along the way! :)

Lake Tahoe

We went to Lake Tahoe with Tim, Laura, and Erin this weekend. The area was beautiful and since I have a shiny new camera, we came back with tons of pics. Here's a few. (more story to come after we've recovered)

Nugget Rib Cook-Off

During our trip to Tahoe, we hopped over to a small town in Nevada by Reno for a rib cook off. We had some pretty good (and by good I mean bad for you) food and went to a free Gin Blosoms concert.
